War of 1812 Scott's Brigade

I have finally finished one of the battalions for Scott's Brigade in the American War of 1812. I have been working on this unit in my spare time over the past couple of weeks as a commission for Paul Doe, the same chap I painted and converted the Perry Miniatures 'Ferguson Rifles' for. These used to be in the AWI gallery on their old web site.

The figures are 28mm from www.knuckleduster.com and the flags I had to hand paint rather than buy commercial ones as 'Flags of War' wasn't answering my emails for some reason. Movement trays by www.warbases.com

The following pictures show a comparison shot of a Knuckleduster and Old Glory Miniature for the War of 1812.

I can now get back to painting figures for me.
Coming up.............. WW2 vehicles and Age of Arthur.

The Knuckleduster and OG miniatures aren't that bad. Thanks for the nice shot of them.

  11. Great paintjobs, reminds me that I have to start painting my own 1812 figures sometime soon. Those flags are little works of art.
