WW2 ARMOUR part 3. T-34/85, Humber & Tetrarch Light Tank

The latest three vehicles I have painted are from left to right, Tetrarch Light Tank, Humber Scout Car and a Warlord plastic, Soviet T-34/85 Medium Tank.

I have not given the Tetrarch any markings as I want it to be as versatile as possible. Mainly as back-up for my airborne  platoon, flown in arriving in a Hamilcar glider.

As part of the Allied Lend Lease scheme, it will be assisting my Russians.

And last but not least, attached to my small Recce force.

The usual staged shots, starting with my Soviets.

And the Brits.

The last of the Allies, Panzer Grey next.

  5. Fantastic images as usual Pat and incredible terrain.....not sure the T34 would have been able to cross the old wooden bridge though.

    1. I think he would have crossed it Vinnie, just the foot sloggers behind would probably have got wet feet.

  16. Hi, Pat, fantastic work as usual! As a big fan of Airborne operations I'm especially excited to the Tetrarch. I also have some news, that I hope you'll enjoy... I've just awarded you a LIEBSTER over at my blog. My guess is you've already received one, perhaps many of them, but as one of the top go-to blogs on my list, I just wouldn't feel right if I hadn't awarded you one. I know the process of "officially" the award after you're "nominated" is somewhat time-consuming (it took me the past two months to get it done!) and I won't feel bad in any way if you aren't interested or able to do it. Your figures, vehicles and terrain are so splendid, and your attitude so gentlemanly, your blog is already a winner in my book!

    Best,

    Ethan

  17. Thanks very much Ethan for your kind words and the nomination, although I don't fit within the criteria but it is kind of you all the same.
Your river terrain boards are coming along nicely by the way and I look forward to seeing them finished.

  18. Wonderful pictures. Your models and terrain are wonderful!

The Tetrarch can be very dangerous against some of the big cats...
